لأن الضرير إنما يستعمل في الأكثر للذي لا بصر له، فقوله في هذا الشيخ أنه ذو بصر، وأنه ضرير تناقض، فكأنه يقول: إنه لا بصراً ولا بصر له، فهو بصير أعمى،كذا في الموشح للمرزباني ونقد الشعر لقدامة.
